Direttamente dal proprio canale C4eva annuncia che per eseguire la sostituzione del pcb sui nuovi lettori Lite-on e Hitachi sarà necessario montare il Reset Glitch Hack. La modifica sarà necessaria per recuperare la Key necessaria per eseguire i nostri backup.
In molti credono che C4eva abbia fatto tutto ciò per far vendere qualche ulteriore strumento da parte del Team Xecuter.
L’unico fatto positivo è che potremo avere il RGH anche sugli ultimi kernel grazie al nuovo chip targato Xecuter.
Non ci resta che attendere ulteriori dettagli sulla vicenda.

On IRC today, c4eva made a statement clarifying why it was originally thought that the Lite-On 1175 DG-16D5S would not require RGH for DVD Key extraction. This should clear up people’s confusion, and hopefully put an end to the silly rumors that there was a secret non-RGH method for grabbing the Key.
[2012-10-31 11:45PM UTC] #fw the key originally dumped from 1175 drive is an aes key,but it was not the dvd key as originally thought. This aes key will still be dumped by the flashing process as it is unique per drive!
