Negli ultimi periodi, Steam sta applicando una politica di mercato molto particolare. Infatti, ci sono giochi molto belli e seguiti, vengono spesso venduti a prezzi sbalorditivi che invogliano tutti a comprarlo, piuttosto che scaricare la versione pirata, e tra questi troviamo Alan Wake Franchise, che si posiziona al primo posto della classifica, aggiudicabile al prezzo di 3,60 €, e comprende sia il gioco Alan Wake, che singolarmente costa 2,80€, sia lo spin-off action Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, che singolarmente costa 1,40€. Al secondo posto invece troviamo Wagame: AirLand Battle, il sequel di Wargame: Escalation dove, grazie ad un miglioramento all’ IrisZoom, è stato migliorato il dettaglio in modo notevole. Al terzo posto troviamo Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods, che uscito solo da pochi giorni, ha già colpito il pubblico.
Importante è anche il settimo posto raggiunto da Metro: Last Night, un videogioco sviluppato da 4A Games che, pubblicato circa 15 giorni fa, vanta già ottime recensioni.
