La ricerca dell’hack sulla Playstation 3 sembra essere in pieno fermento grazie ai vari sviluppatori presenti sulla scena.
Oggi veniamo a sapere che un coder francese chiamato Upsilon ,già famoso per i primi dump per il nintendo3ds,è riuscito a dumpare la devflash del firmware 4.00 e 3.73. Ricordiamo che la devflash è la parte più importante della nand in cui sono racchiuse le chiavi del firmware e i codici cifrati per i giochi. Ma non è tutto perchè la fase successiva sarà quella di portare la factory mode sui fw superiori a 3.56.

I developer di tutto il mondo hanno il materiale necessario per creare un cfw , ma ci chiediamo chi sarà che si prenderà questa grande responsabilità?
Sarà kmeaw (già creatore del cfw 3.55 Kmeaw) , che abitando in Russia , dove la Sony non può torcigli contro i propri avvocati, può lavorare più tranquillamente?
