Il developer Aldo Vargas rianima la scena PlayStation 3 pubblicando un nuovo aggiornamento per l’applicazione PS2 Classic GUI, lo strumento ci permette di convertire delle immagini ISO o .bin in classici PS2 (.bin.enc) all’interno di pacchetti PKG che potranno essere installati e riprodotti su PlayStation 3 attraverso l’emulatore PS2.

In questa nuova versione lo sviluppatore ha introdotto il supporto per i giochi PS2 in formato DVD-9 (dischi in Dual Layer dalla capacità doppia), la soluzione è stata suggerita da Kozarovv in una sua recente guida.
