Nintendo 2DS si chiama la nuova console portatile di Nintendo.
La nuova console, o meglio, la versione più economica della rivoluzionaria console di Nintendo, come si può intuire dal nome non sarà in grado di visualizzare contenuti in 3D. Questo, per tenere un prezzo più basso rispetto al suo fratello maggiore. Ma non è tutto, Nintendo ha anche voluto eliminare la chiusura a libro tipica del DS e 3DS ed ha implementato un solo schermo e non due, la ragione ovviamente minori costi di produzione. Per quanto riguarda il resto il 2DS sarà identico al 3DS quindi, i giochi del 3DS e DS saranno compatibili al cento per cento, avrà la connessione Wi-fi, la levetta analogica e sarà disponibile in tre colorazioni: Nero-Rosso, Nero-Blu e Bianco-Rosso.
Per quanto riguarda il prezzo, la console dovrebbe aggirarsi intorno ai 120 Euro e uscirà sul mercato europeo il 12 Ottobre in due modelli rosso e blu.
